Rarely do I weigh them at all.   A few I have wrapped a little strip of foam, palmered like up the hook before I wrap the chenille.  I like this fly to move very slolwly and let it drop that way also.

         When you tie your Marabou Miss flies for fishing do you weight them with lead wire or use a sink tip fly line? I am getting ready to go fishing for crappies and I understand that you are having a blast of time catching them on this fly.

Went out to a new pond today.
Had a blast using a Marabou Miss for the crappie and bass.  Used a red and yellow Skip Morris Panfish fly for the gills.
 
Came home with 55 gills, 16 crappie, and tossed back in more fish than I kept. Lost alot of crappie as I had them hooked in the side of the mouth.  Great fun anyway.
