One of my fishing buddies and I got packed and headed out this morning to fish the beautiful Pere Marquette River in Michigan.
We got 8 miles from home when my buddy's cell phone ran over. It was his wife. The guide had
called and recommended we not come up since the river was completely flooded, muddy, and essentially unfishable.
So we went back home.
Only 16 miles. That was a short trip. No Fishing.
