Just got my second order of April from Lines End.  What cool stuff!  Bought a Hebert Miner neck in water dun and for $20, what a bargain.  And those Flymaster spring scissors work great for delicate cuts at only $6.95!  I had been using some scissors from Pakistan that I rated above all others that I paid $20+ for to get up close and personal with trimming my flys.  In olive, I got a bunny foot, elk hock and some cdc and tied some cdc/elk/bunny caddis.  The elk does not flair a bit and that's why the snowshoe on top of it.  Last night I tried some caddis with deer and it flaired out of control and spun around the hook.  Maybe dyed elk hock has lost something in the dying or I didn't have enough in the stacker.

Quills II look like I'm going to tie some real nice Baetis bodies and what do I tie with turkey biots?  One of you (you know who you are) was kind enough to send me a BUNCH of goose biots and I'd like to send you some flys if you'll email me off-list your addy.  The turkey flats were nice but Byard should look for a source of chicken Ts which give a lot more for the money.  The cdc Byard has is just perfect for the Hans CDC & Elk.  (Could someone post the url again as I tied some and they seem real good and easy but I want to verify the results?)

Did I forget that I took the 5% VFB member discount and opted for my membership to include the discount coupon instead of the cap this year as I have a stack of caps.  Just so you know this is not a slanted post, Byard is NOT a friend (he's more like family), he did start stocking my favorite thread (14/0 Gordon Griffiths incedibly strong and light which I prefer above ALL others), Byard WILL get a key to my cabin on his next trip down to PA (not even all my kids have one), and I expect Byard to sell all my favorite tying stuff.

Sheeeeeesh!  Was that okay Wonderbread....errrrr, I mean Most Gracious Listmaster?

Now you all must know I'm messin with Byard here and that son of a gun better give me a discount next time around!
