Nick As I understand it ....    and I'm sure Don O will add to this....   There will be no difference in the quality of the Whiting feathers from your Bronze pelt to a Gold pelt.   The difference is in the quantity of the feathers on the pelt.   You can tie more flies with a Gold grade pelt because the feather count is higher.  The feather quality will always be of the highest standards from a Whiting pelt.  So if you want a variety of colors and are on a limited budget dig through the bronze grades and you will get some great buys and the same quality!!! Deb A Whiting pelt...and this time I can look at it in 3-D. Of course I had to make some priorities this time too, so I didn't stretch further than bronze...but it sure looked good enough to me.
