>Well I rambled on enough, lot's of memories are being stirred up. I wish I was around then just to gain a better appreciation of how great we have things now (I've been tying for a good 11 or 12 years, but I'm just 25 years old). I do remember getting indian hackles and thinking they were the best thing since sliced bread - my first hackles were indian, and it stayed that way til just 2 or 3 years ago! Then I got a metz grizzly neck and WOW!! I still haven't gone over to the "dark side" and bought a rotary vise... but that's the next big ticket item on my "wish list" <G> Seeing as my first vise was a pair of tweezers soldered to a metal dowel and a slip-ring to close them up, I'm sitting VERY well now with a $10 US simple pedestal vise. Doesn't rotate, but it's jaws are midge size, so it ballances out. Helps to have smaller jaws when tying size 18 and smaller all of the time. Things have really changed in just the little-over-a-decade that I've been tying. Ah, the memories ;) I'm too young to be saying that! I'll leave it to you guys <VBG> Tight lines, Pete
