Wow Deb!!!  I just was hearing this on the Weather Channel...To give you all an idea about my area, there's a spot in Sharon VT where Interstate 89 goes over the White River.  Those Vermonters out there may know where i'm talking about.  On one of the bridge pilings, someone had gone out there in the dead of summer and painted foot markings from the pad up to about 12 feet.  Yesterday coming home from my daughters softball game, the water was ticking the 5 foot mark.  Normally this time of year, the pad is under 6 INCHES of water.  Will be a few days here before things get back to normal.
Vacation's over...i gotta go to work...:(

I just got off the phone with my mother, the town I grew up next to is flooded again.  Des Plaines IL the river runs over the bank and floods part of the downtown area.  So you guys must have gotten a lot of rain.   I only remember this happening once before but it's bad when it does.  The last time they had to use boats downtown.

To give an idea of the amount of rain we recieved on Monday with all the storms.  The lake I go out to at lunch, which is about 788 acres, was up 22 inches.

This will make Jimmy Moore happy.  I caught 14 crappie in just over an hour. Hard day to get the fish to bite.
