Our snakes must be very laid back. I've been around timber rattler, copperheads, cottonmouths and the occasional diamondback all my life, and never felt threatened by them. I've caught them, scared them off, had a dog et by one, and et a few myself. Generally I think they're more good than bad. Try handling the rodents in the world without them.
My daughter got bitten, and nearly lost a hand, but she doesn't fear or hate them either. If you feel more comfortable, a Thompson Center Contender with a .410 barrel, or a .44 mag with bird shot will take care of any problems you may have. --- Steve, In Maryland ____________________________________________________________ Find what you are looking for with the Lycos Yellow Pages http://r.lycos.com/r/yp_emailfooter/http://yellowpages.lycos.com/default.asp?SRC=lycos10
