In answer to your question..what to use instead of black swiss straw for a stone fly..I love making the wing cases out of Tyvek..that is free at the post office in the priority mail envelopes..the whole back side is white and you can color it any way and color you want with a permanent ink pen. Also..you can get great cutters from [EMAIL PROTECTED] that will cut the stone fly wing cases for you. It may be that Byard has these available as well. Works great. Joyce
