Hi Alan, nice to be back. Misa and i are both fine and busy as ever. I sure
have missed all you guys a lot too. Thankx to all who have sent jokes to
Jimmy. I've been working with the Delaware River Foundation (on the board
now) for the last few months. And Misa and i are still on the Conservation
Committee at TGF (Theodore Gordon Flyfishers), so that keeps us busy too. I
keep real active with the Catskill Fly Tyers Guild, and Misa with her team
(Team Japan) and we still keep doing as many shows as we can afford to
attend. I went to Idah Falls, Idaho for the E.I.F.T./F.F. Expo in April.
It's a lot like the Sowbug, (also on a Fri. & Sat.) only they take it to
another level at their big Sat. night Diner for Conservation. I think the
Sowbug was in it's 7th yr. this last time around and the Expo has been at it
for 11 yrs. now. I'm also trying to work on creating a similar "Event" here,
based on the same principles of a two day tying symposium on a Fri. and
Sat., it being a conservation minded fund raiser. I also just finished
co-hosting an FAOL Regional Fish-In, ("Gathering" because this year we also
invited the VFB site folks, the NEFF site folks, and the WFFJ site folks),
and it was a real success. I'm really starting to get excited about the FFF
I.C. again, this ear in West Yellowstone. I leave for Montana on Aug. 10th.
Misa goes to Slovakia on Aug. 27, one day after i get back from Montana on
the 26th. Then we have a show in Oct. and two more in Nov. And as soon as
you look around it'll be the first of the year and time to start all over
again. Our first show for 2005 starts on New years Day. Well, i don't wanna
get long winded so.........lol. Y'all take care and hope everyone is healthy
and happy. mark.........
