What terrible news! Tom was one of the few list members I have met personally and I made it a point to look him up whenever I was in the Idaho Falls area. The fact we both shared the same name added to our friendship. A great gentleman, fly tyer, and rod builder.

I hate this. It is so sad to have a fly fisherman gone at a young age with so many rivers yet to be fished. I hope all is well with his family and that there are good friends around them to help them in this time of need. It is especially sad that his death went unnoticed by the list for almost two weeks. I think we all would have liked to have had the opportunity to express our condolences to his family.

He will be missed.
