>Well, Amanda and I took a jaunt this morning, 14 miles round trip. We went
>in at the refuge about a mile from the house, drove the river north looking
>at the water and trying to find a place to get in. Salt Cedars were so
>thick
>you could not even see the river. About 5 miles down we started finding
>some thinning spots, water was low and a deep rust brown from the rains and
>run off. Wasn't even worth rigging up. We traveled all the way north
>checking as we went to the power line road. No way to fish it now. We
>decided to try maybe tomorrow or Monday down below the dam. The are
>releasing water so the river should be up. Never know till we try.
