I just had to tell you about this to bug Jimmy D as he can't get out.
Went to pond yesterday morning. I could see fish working al over the pond. I had strikes on almost every cast. Lost alot of fish as they were just barely lip hooked but still had great fun.
I did get 3 bass that were over 16 " long. Great fun on the 3 wt I built.
Most of the fish were on a peacock sword tail nymph.
hook size 8 to 14
tail 4 peacock sword
body ostrich herl (can also use emu)
hackle soft feather of some sort.
This one was tied with a small bead behind the hackle.
