Tony, 
You should mention the brand of waders you had bad luck with, for those of
us who are wanting to purchase breathables, that way, we don't have to deal
with the same headaches you did.  I don't think you would be doing a
disservice to the particular company, as I am sure they offer other good
products.

Join the club.
I went through 5 pair of breathable in a years time. They were all from 
the same company that I will not mention on the  list. They leaked 
within three or four times I used them. Each time I up-graded and spent 
the extra money along with shipping charges to send them back. Finally 
on the fifth pair, I requested a refund. I just bought another pair last 
week from another company. I have used them three times so far and no 
leaks yet. Will see how they hold up. On breathables, I think it is 
better to patch them from the inside on seam leaks and outside on a tear 
or puncture.
