Harvy,
I will contact you off list. If any others want this info, I will do it off list. BTW, I also have two fishing buddies that had the same problem I had. I am not condemning the place I got them from as they do not make the waders, they just sell them. I asked each time if this is an ongoing problem with the breathable waders they sell. Each time I was told that it is not. They have not had any of them returned for leaks. One time I got a nice young lady that told me they had had a few problems with the type of waders I bought. Now comes the clincher, I was at a group gathering last fall and a guy had a pair of waders like I had just returned. I asked if they leaked and he said yes. I asked if he was going to return them and he said no. For what I give for them I wear them till they get too bad to use and then I go to another pair. I though , this guy is crazy. What I found out, this guy lives near the store and twice a year they have a store return sale. He told me they have 3 to 4 racks of waders for 17.00 a pair, your choice. He buys 4 pair a year.

Tony, You should mention the brand of waders you had bad luck with, for those of
us who are wanting to purchase breathable, that way, we don't have to deal
with the same headaches you did. I don't think you would be doing a
disservice to the particular company, as I am sure they offer other good
products.

Eric,
Join the club.
I went through 5 pair of breathable in a years time. They were all from the same company that I will not mention on the list. They leaked within three or four times I used them. Each time I up-graded and spent the extra money along with shipping charges to send them back. Finally on the fifth pair, I requested a refund. I just bought another pair last week from another company. I have used them three times so far and no leaks yet. Will see how they hold up. On breathables, I think it is better to patch them from the inside on seam leaks and outside on a tear or puncture.

I have had problems with my breathable waders. My neorenes have held up for years and are still going strong with a few patches. However I have not used the breathable waders that much and they already have a huge leak. I've had problems like this in the past with breathables. Does anybody else have the same problem? I ordered my breathable waders a size big so I could wear lots of clothes under it and I'm wondering if maybe that's why it has a tendency to get leaks in it. Also I'm looking to repair my waders and am looking for some tips. I've been told that repairing them on the inside actually works much better, any comments???
