Rodney, let me know how you do with your home made dubbing. I must admit..I
don't buy dubbing any more except to match the hue with some of my homemade.
You can make any kind you want. I'd suggest that you also get some Polaraire
(I think Byard carries this) in white, olive, blue, red and yellow for
starters. I use it cut in about 1/8 -1/4 inch bits, about 1 inch off the end
of the hank, for my flash dubbings also. A hank will last a very long time.
