Steve I was shown the following knotless attachment of fly line to leader last year;   - dip 1/2" or so of the end of your fly line in acetone, or acetone type nail polish remover   - after the acetone softens the fly line outter coating ( 1 to 2 minutes ) srtrip off the coating     w/  your finger nails   - insert the leader butt into the inner braided core, inch worm it on as you would a braided     loop connector   - apply crazy glue to coat the braided core   It makes an almost seamless connection. I don't think I would use it for larger lines ,but have had no problems with the method using it up to size 5 lines. Hope this helps.   John
