George, i met Royce Dam at the Sowbug in March. Very interesting guy. Got 
his book and his video (DVD) and they are both very nice. Got his own way of 
doing a few things.........or maybe some way he learned from someone else a 
long time ago. He had some very beautiful Atlantic Salmon flies framed up 
and for sale at the Sowbug............but they were WAY outta sight price 
wise. To tell you the truth, inho they were not that great.........very 
good, but NOT great. And he had 'em priced at 
$600....................."forget about it." The most i've ever paid for a 
single fly was $300. Paid $360 once but got the fly and a print (drawing) of 
the same fly in the same frame. Royce is a Bus Buzeck award winner (the 
FFF's top honor for fly tying) and a very nice guy, but i highly doubt i'll 
ever pay that much for one fly............even if it was tyed by Kelson 
himself. LOL. mark...........
