Iain, that's too too funny. Most of the Scots I know are inveterate
poachers, being as they had no other way to get near a trout stream. The
pub stories of narrow escapes from river keepers can keep us in
stitches. Democratic!? well I guess it all depends on what bank you're
on---isn't the word for the chap that leases the other bank "the enemy"?
All said with a smile of course, I love Scotland.
