I would also add, from the great advice you received from Bart,
That you should start a web page you can say a lot there,
Post updates address and a map to the club,
Then I would look for Bulletin boards on Goggle search, and join them
you will be surprised at the amount of people from you area on there.
Dont be afraid to ask people on the boards if they know of a message board
in your area.
I would make up business cards and leave at the fly fishing shop.
I never thought of tying one day at the fly shop, what a great idea, I must
do this.
When it comes to tying in public Tony once told me, that I should learn to
tie one fly,
Learn it well.

Patrick first thing I would do is go to that local fly shop, the one you
spend the most timeat. Talk with the HMFIC, that's Head Master Fisherman In
Charge, and see if they would allow you a space to meetand tie once a week,
heck he may even join you. As for getting the word out, post fliers in the
local sporting goods shops, if you have a local newpaper they might allow
free ads for non-profit activities.Do you have a local chapter of Trout
Unlimited? That would be a good place to start. Hopeit works out.
