Steve, I use to surf all the time when I lived in Ca. and there aint nottin
to be afraid of out there. In all my time spent in the ocean in Ca. (which
was a ton), the only sharks I ever saw were sand sharks. Unless you count
the 18' great white! But I was working on the Newport pier so that doesn't
count as "in" the Ocean.
