OK Folks, I figure there has got to be one out there somewhere that can help me.
I have had a development in my computer in the past 2 weeks that has me befuddled and it irritates me. Whenever I start up it automatically attempts to connect to the internet. I cancel the connection, and it does it again and will keep trying. The only downloads I have done in the last 3 weeks is Real player and Windows Media Player. I was thinking that it may just be some sort of auto update but can not find that anywhere. I have run spy bot and Add a wear and they can not find anything. I cant defrag my system because this is running somewhere. When I shut down my e-mail and internet explorer the computer stays connected to the internet. I have done the 3 finger salute to see what is running and can not find anything out of the ordinary. Have found a couple of things and ended the task, but it still does it. Anyone know how I can find out what is doing this and how to kill it? I need to do a system maint. and cant because of it, plus it bugs me as to why it auto connects. Thanks, Jimi
