Thank you!   This one was tied in a class with around 6 other tiers so it has a lot of opportunities I would've fixed had I been at home.  These are just a few of them to look for.  A lot of this is subject to personal taste also but I think this fly would've been better with these adjustments....

*The GP tail is a wee bit long which throws off the rest of the wing.  This is a mistake I repeat quite often. Had the tail been shorter the whole wing profile would've been a little more streamlined.
*The GP tippet 2nd bar should line up with the butt of the fly.  It did when I first tied it in but the weight of the married wing when I tied it in brought it down and back.  So that was tied in long also.  You're mistakes always show in the next step.
*From the red on up in the married wing the fibers are a wee bit long.  They shouldn't extend beyond the  tail.
*I don't like the position of the horns.
*I would like the wool head a little heavier.

They aren't ready yet for Hans site but it's getting a lot easier for me to see where I would like to improve and know what I did wrong.
Now that school has started maybe I can practice a little more on them.  Back to the drawing board as they say.....
Deb
