Hi folks, well.........i "Finally" got my dang computer fixed. Had to wipe (out) the dang hard drive and reinstall everything. Sure is nice to have it working correctly, and much faster. Been yrs. since it worked this well. No pop-ups, spam, freezes, and/or all the other crap assoiciated with trojans, worms, and virusus. I may have to go "Off List" again for a week or so next week, as i'm going down to Mt. Home, Arkansas again to tye at the FFF Southern Council Show, Oct. 1. & 2. But soon as i get back, i'll be back "On List." That is if i can find the time to deal with it after having been thru a pretty serious flood this past Sat. We were evactuated at 5:00 a.m. on Fri. nignt/Sat.morning, as i was just finishing up a spey fly, LOL. Actually i had been in bed about 5 minutes. Only two steps going down to our basement were left above water down there, and we had water in three (mudd, lol; sunken lol dinning; and gallery, formally our garage) rooms, all of which are built on a cement slab layed down by previous owners as the only foundation for an extension. Dumb and dumber. Fortuantely our bedroom (loft above the gallery and dinning room), which is also on that slab is high enough to have stayed dry. Also, we got no water in the main part of the house. Our property however is totally trashed.......a WRECK! It'll take me bout a yr. to get it back in the shape i had it in. I know, because this isn't the first time i've had to do it all over again. And it prolly won't be the last. "Life On The River, AND Brook." Fortunately too, all four of our adult dogs and 6 out of 7 puppies managed to survive also, with the help of one of our neighbors who rescued them all. When they made us leave they gave us no time for anything and then we were not allowed to come back until much later. I tried several times but the county sherrif said NO WAY. They had the road blocked off. My neighbor who saved the day came from the other direction and was on foot. He litterally had to wade chest high to accomplish the mission. Our house was a complete island, even the deck was under water. My sump pump is still going 24 hrs. a day. Fun, fun, fun in river city. NOT! Thank God, it wasn't much worser............worser. mark............
