Speaking of which, this has been chicken week. First, our club had a great "Virtual Tour" of "How To Make Hackle" by Bill Keough. As Sergeant Schultz said on Hogan's Heros, "Veddy Inter-restink".
Bill Keough is quite an interesting guy. It certainly convinced some of the guys who thought you just got some eggs and raised some chickens that it involves a lot more than that. VERY labor intensive.
Then Fred the Rooster showed up needing adoption. Gee, if we hadn't just adopted, I might have been able to talk Mrs. F. into it, but she said the dog was enough. <G>
