For those of us with the ability to record DVDs remember not to use
regional encoding.  Then you will not have to worry about if someone may
be able to watch it, with no regional encoding it may be viewed
anywhere.

that's correct. But there seems to be machines, which can convert. I've
got a neat tape about the sowbug from Tony. A friend of mine could
convert it to PAL and he cut a DVD, so I could whatch it.
