This makes real fine dubbing with or without the guard hairs. Try it on 
small flies. I had a load of it too , sent a lot of it to list members 
on the old list.

Mink guard hairs make great wings on the "fluttering caddis".  Tied 
same as Elk Hair caddis but with mink wing instead of elk.  The guard 
hairs on the tail are the best.
