Nope, what I meant is that Tony was confusing the two meanings of 'stacking':


1. evening the tips of deer hairs in a hair stacker, and

2. putting bunches of deer hair on a hook without spinning them so that you can position different colours on different sides of the finished fly, e.g. a deer hair bass bug with a dark top side and a white underside, or even a patchy colour pattern on the top side.
