Tony This wasn't an FFF clave was it? Ginger had some not so nice things to say about the one she just went to. I was a little disappointed with her report. They didn't sound like they were very nice to her. I'm sorry about your stuff. That is sad. That is why I enjoy tying with UFT. Someone is always there to watch our table. We haven't lost anything yet but I have heard of it on a rare occasion. I hope you're enjoying your weekend. Regards, Deb
Mark, If you would of been at the Conclave you would not of been stung. Your ears must of been ringing too. Several people asked about you, some knew you had been flooded out and others know now. Regards from a bunch of people. I did not get to tie a lot, will not go into why here. I changed from tying the extended body mayflies to tying the Tape wing Caddis and the Still Born. Both went over real good. Wapsi had some new products, one was molded plastic Hopper Legs. I am not fond of using plastic on flies but these were real nice. They were tying up some different types of hoppers with these legs and I was really impressed with the results. Eric Smucker gave me a bag of assorted hopper legs to play with and pass out to friends along with a Tyers bag of new products. I had to make s quick run to the men's room and laid them on my chair. When I got back, they were gone. I have tied at this conclave for 11 years, this is the first time I have lost anything. Needless to say, it ruined my day.
