I sure as heck don't wanna bust no bubbles, but i don't think a pair of 
wading boots has yet been invented that'll last a lifetime. Unless maybe if

My Danner boots split, i called Danner, they AIRMAILED ME A NEW PAIR, to 
England.  The rest of corperate america could take lessons from Danner.

I also recently had a great experience dealing with Danner. I owned a pair 
of their wading boots. The stitching failed after less then a years ware 
and I called the company. The response was shocking!! Sir I'm sorry we 
cannot replace your boots. We no longer manufacture wading boots, but
we will issue the store where you bought them with a full credit towards a 
new pair of your choice. I'm now the owner of Patagonia boots hoping they 
will last a lifetime.
