Hey Rob and all
Need to apologize for not getting to this earlier. Been a whole week of long days, and got about 500 emails behind in my reading. Those who have seen my work know I always try for something a little 'different'. I have looked at the list of flies being tied, and I will be tying the VIP Popper. This is a deerhair and foam fly usually associated with redfish on the flats down here in Texas, but I have been meaning to try tying some up for bass in freshwater.
Too busy right now with this and a couple of other swaps (other lists?) and the rest of my life, but next swap I'm going to propose hosting, maybe later this winter, will be a Monty Python Swap. "And now for something a little different!" Style and premise will be to tie something you've never tried before - materials, target fish, techniques, etc. Try to expand everyones skills and horizons.
Me? If I tried to tie a size 22 dry fly, that would qualify!

I want to thank all of you for joining this swap. I promise to keep everyone updated and satisfied. There are 14 folks tying and we need one more. I will take a couple of alternates because I am sure that a few will drop out for one reason or another. If you name is not on this list and you thought it would be let me know. Also, let me know what you are tying so I can add it to the list. It is as follows:
9. Jack Lehman - VIP Popper
