Pete, one thing........please make sure to get involved in conservation asap, if your not already. As the saying goes, "you take it for granted, it turns into granit." You want those brookies around for your retirement, YOU gotta make sure they are. Aint nobody gonna do it for you. And if you don't, who will? Get you local club involved too. There's a brand new program at the FFF called Adopt-A-Stream and Ted Rogowski got it strated. Look in the newest issue of the FFF's quarterly mag. and see the article. That sign in the pic is the one our club (TGF) put up on the Beaverkill to let folks know they are being held to account when on the River. We got watch-dogs out everywhere. LOL, but it's serious business. It's come to that........WE have to do the work. You can't reley on your state agency to do it. Half the time they are part of the problem, as opposed to. My wife and i have been on the conservation committee at TGF for over 10 yrs. And we are now working on a club to sponser the Willowemoc. The tying event i'm starting up here in June will go/be to support the TGF concervation fund. If you or any of your guys can make it, please let me know, asap. We just had diner tonight at the place i think we're going to have the event. Got the deal finalized for the hall. I just have to get it over to the C.C. I still need more tyers. BTW pete, did you see my new boo rod that was delivered to me at the show? The builder who built it, is going to be one of our tyers, doing bass bugs. Also just got the final word from Kevin Slater today that he's comming to tye too. I gave you the sign-up sheet at the show? Take care, mark....

I know, it was a bad attempt at me making a joke... Really, not THAT big a deal... lol A guy needs to keep occupied during the cooler months. Until I retire to fish for the brookies of North Carolina year- round, I'll tie flies. Only 35 or so more years before then! :)
Hope everyone's holiday/ weekend was and is going great!
Tight wraps,
Pete
PS- Mark- package left today for you; be on the lookout.
