Thompson is out of business, sadly. Another company has bought their inventory and is planning on continuing to produce the Cobra (I can't find who it is at the moment). As soon as all the other inventory is gone for the other Thompson vises, you'll have to figure out repairs on your own. Since I've had my model A for about 20 years, and foolishly tried to put too big a hook in the standard jaws (2nd year i had the vise), the only thing I've ever had done was to replace the jaws. I also bought a set of saltwater jaws to avoid that problem. If I can find the name of the company that boght the thmopson inventory, I'll post it.
