I got skunked on Brown's Lake yesterday, but got a 30" stocker rainbow the day after X-Mas. Sorta bittersweet, ya know?
I'm devouring Gary LaFontaine's book "Fly Fishing the Mountain Lakes" and can't wait to load up the backpack this year. I'm thinking about hiking into the mountains almost every weekend to try to escape the crowds.
Have you been up to much lately? I'm mostly reading and tying right now. Getting ready to go back to school to prepare for the engineering track at MSU. See ya soon :)
