Photo Flo and Jet Dri are both wetting agents, not soap. Def: [n] a substance capable of reducing the surface tension of a liquid in which it is dissolved.

Kodak Photo Flo keeps water from beading up and leaving water spots and drying marks on processed photographic film. It lets the water drain off in sheets rather than beading (which is a byproduct of surface tension of water). As listers have noted, this is available in a place that sells photographic darkroom supplies. There are a lot of online sources. A little goes a very long ways.

Jet Dri keeps water from spotting glassware in an automatic dishwasher. You've seen the ads about drying your wine glasses spot-free. The UK folks should be able to find a comparable product.

whats "JET DRI" iain

Will post the most successful tippet sink recipe after I test a few this
coming dry fly season. Most involve making a kind of putty or paste with
the ground Fuller's Earth and a liquid ranging from liquid hand wash, to a
wetting agent like Jet Dri, to glycerin. Wipe the goop on your tippet to
absorb grease and oils (that float the tippet) and in the case of the Jet
Dri, add a coating that breaks the surface tension of the water surface.
