Hey all,
I'm looking into Devcon 5-minute, as I currently have a type (forget the name of it) that has the two tubes end in one common mixing tube (picture a Y coupler). After the first use, it gets clogged... even with a nail driven up the dispensing/ mixing tube to prevent complete plugging... I think it goes without saying that I'm anxious to try a new brand, and I think the Devcon is the way to go. I can't cut the Y off and have 2 separate tubes, due to the layout of the thing - the main tube sections lead right into the Y which isn't more than a half-inch long. More like a T junction than a Y coupling. Anyhow... new epoxy is the way I'm heading.
On a new note, life's grand once again - new house, just signed for a new leased truck (Tacoma, leased because I'm cheap) this eve, new job offer (Teratologist II at Charles River Labs), and best of all, I picked up 1,000 (yes, a thousand) miscelaneous Mustad Spey/ Alan Jackson hooks from size 10 to 8/0! Well, and I got a JC neck a few weeks ago and an African Blue Guinea hen pelt. I still have a wish list a mile long, but I think I'll wait until the first paycheck from the new job. Start date is still up in the air, with April 1 as the latest estimate, so I don't want to go TOO crazy here... at least i have the current job until Feb 28th, and the area is known for its pre-season rules for browns in March ;)
Well, enough on the unintentional brag letter, back to tying!
Pete
