Brad, I'm thinking that by imitation the meaning is a
look alike natural feather. With the Yellow Flicker
being a protected species the idea is to take a
feather from an unprotected bird and shape and dye it
to resemble the real thing. Of course, I may be
completely off base. -Jeff
