While I like certain rock, I tend to listen to lighter sounds while tying as 
I find the process relaxing.  About the most intense music in my ears while 
tying might be softer Doors selections and I've even found some new music 
from my 17-28 year olds that I have no idea of the artists to be 
entertaining.  Nothing too loud or intense, sometimes as mellow as classical 
as long as it is not too robust.  Getting old I guess.  -Murf

I mostly listen to ROCK - 3 doors down Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet,
3 doors down, audioslave, Whitesnake and AC-DC. But also blues rock like
Stevie Ray Vaughan, jonny lang, and some of eric Clapton and a German girl
called Nena(was very popular in the mid 90's)
