Very cool story........now that i "finally" got it sorted out. So Tony i
guess it's not really that "undercovert" (aftershaft) from the Golden
Pheasent crest feather, but one from a breast feather of an Amhearst
Pheasent. Anyway, the whole point about this thread is that aftershaft,
undercovert, or whatever you wanna call 'em feathers are good for things.
All kinds of things. And should not be just tossed aside. Unless of course
your so wealthy you can just buy whatever you need whenever you need it.
Doesn't sound like to many (any) fly tyers i know...... mark, lol
