Dear Mr. "all things considered...Philadelphia",
Received a very appropriate card from you with trout pics on the front and
samples of sili skin and gooey body enclosed.  While I suspect 3M has a hand
in this product (their expertise has always been adhesives, including those
of the original floppy), it is a total unknown to me.  They might sell it
via another division, produce it on a contract basis, or maybe it is another
manufacturer (possibly a foreign one knocking off the adhesive patent, which
is surprisingly familiar).

End of story, I see it as a product not related to any I've seen in the OP
industry except the adhesive.  The silicone (?) could come from a number of
sources.  I'll bet Harry Steeves knows.  Why not ask him?  Last I heard, he
was fishing ants in Colorado but that was last month.

Thanks, Murf.  So what are you going to tie up with the samples? Somehow I can't see Harry giving up the secret of a product he sells.  I know he wouldn't tell me how they made the Loco Foam.  I had to figure that one out myself.  I'll have to see if I can muscle it out of another tyer at the Philly show next month who told me he knows what it is.  Or at least what the "gooey body" is.   Where's Uncle Mario when I need him.
