Thanks Alan, I'm not laughing at all, that's a good idea. As a matter of fact, I've been looking for vibratory motors for the last hour or so. I remember about a year ot two ago Don Johnson found a multiple stacker with a dozen tubes on ebay, but it was still a manual affair. Gotta get a vibrrator in there somehow.
I found some teeny little plastic hair clips that seem to work ok, but they got me hung up thinking only about spring loaded devices. Your notion of simply using tubes, like shell casings, will get me closer to a general solution.
