I have two colors of the boa yarn myself (not part of the recall).  I have 
the Cardinal and the Ostrich.  I have tied some soft hackle flies with these 
and I am waiting for the ice to leave the ponds and rivers to give them a 
try.   I am open to swapping.  Unfortunately the colors you describe sound 
like what they call Ostrich.

What sorts of patterns have you found success with?
