Pete,
A guy at the Sowbug last year had some for sale. I got in on the tail end after they were picked over.
I will take a couple of shots of the two I got and send them to you off list.
I would think Silver Badger would be a good sub.
I have a Silver Badger from Denny that has some speckling in it like the coch-y-bondu.

Hey all,
Question for the group - I found an older pattern (1920's timeframe) which say
to use 'Coch-y-bondu' hackle. What is this? A fishing buddy said to use
furnace, but my curiousity is peaked... inquiring minds and such...
Tight wraps,
Pete
