I hate to think what would happen to a Texas Senator who proposed such a bill. You're right, Ed. None of us outdoorsmen can stand by and do nothing while the animal rights groups strip us of two of our most cherished traditions. What can we do? Email our state administration, governor, senators, congressmen. Write letters to the editor of our newspapers. Some will say that by stirring the pot, we will give undue publicity to PETA and other like organizations. Maybe so, but if we don't harken to the call, they will slowly do away with all hunting and fishing. Remember, in Britian they've already outlawed Fox Hunting with dogs. I'm sure PETA or its european counterpart led the way on this. It's a danged shame that 5 % of the populace can control the other 95 %. Just think of our other rights that are being eroded. BTW, what I'm writing ain't politics, it's about SURVIVAL!

Like I've said many times before. I FISH BECAUSE I MUST ! It's a way of life for me and is what keeps me young at heart.

Sorry about the Soap Box, but this PETA crap drives me nuts !!!!
