MEMBERSHIP CARD. Thanks Wonderb...er...Byard.
The hat. First, it will reside in the shadow box but I give myself
permission to wear it in public in good weather but never to fish in
until I retire. You see, DEET disolves the Sharpie ink which sickens
me because the very first signed hat signature Byard sent me faded out
from DEET. Luckily, I have a Sharpie and expect Byard's presence
before too long.
Now some of you tell Byard to keep the VFB hat when you pay dues but
I defer to the $15 discount card from Line's End. Of course, he knows
I'll need more colors (smart marketing Byard) in future memberships.
I've got to place an order soon as there are the Whiting 100s and that
certain brand of hooks on sale.
