Tony,

The only picture not from me on that page is the fly patch.  As I was in a hurry and lousey at digital photography, many of the flys did not make the cut at http://by3fd.bay3.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/compose?type=ra&curmbox=F000000001&a=3c5611219318942e5917752d02e2bb11&msg=MSG1113000610.23&start=77448&len=2748&curmbox=F000000001&a=3c5611219318942e5917752d02e2bb11.

I wonder if you noticed my Y2K box with a "nit-picken" by you and the one you had me finish (and I still have the winged emerger lesson flys too) along with your "coffeee bean" a RARE Byard VFB LOGO fly (the big one).  You may note Linda Foote's "poliwog" in the upper right.  I have pulled a few of yours from the usual display boxes to go into my shadowbox collection.  The winged emerger from when we first met, froggie and some surprises you may have forgotten about.  The photography on this work will be done much better.

I have a chile pepper but may have fished the last WRD as I had to choose between catching fish and history.  Sorry Tony, the trout MADE me do it!  He chewed it up good too.  I had already used up the ones I tied that day as I was fishing light tippet.  Next swap you join to tie the WRD in, I'm joining.  Sure, I can tie them but it's WHO tied it in this case.

Rene, had a few of your flys in some pics that were too blurry but I plan to improve my photography skills and take more time to lay out some of the thousands on a white "King Size" sheet and see how many folks can recognize their own flys.

I've decided to bust my bunns working this year so I can hit Sowbug and every other tying event my friends are at next season so I can swap, buy or barter flys from as many friends as possible.  I have a dream of a huge encased wall display with flys of tyers who have taught me in the middle spiralling out to those I know less personally but have influenced my tying over the years.

Maybe I have too many flys since I can afford to put so many under glass but I guess I'll just have to    "....keep tyin...."   to make up for the gaps.
