Rene If you're talking about the Alec Jackson hooks Byard has they are long shanked spey hooks. I just wanted to let you know so you don't get a surprise. :) A lot of people still like them for their classic style salmon patterns but it will be a longer body and wing so you have to have materials that are long enough to fit the hook.
