This is where the "Hooks for the Fly" book comes in handy. You have to 
be careful that the hook does NOT have a Limerick or similar bend. This 
bend takes a real sharp turn just behind the barb and it is impossible 
to get the correct size bead around. Aberdeen, Sproat and Perfect bends 
should all work OK.

me that the gaps aren't wide enough. What brand of hooks out there
