Along with sending the daily quote to the VFB, FFW and HCFF, I send it to several other people. One of these is my good friend, Tim Shields, president of Lone Star Fly Fishers in Tyler, TX.  Without a doubt they are one of the most active fly fishing clubs in Texas.  I'll have the honor of being the guest speaker at their annual banquet on December 20th of this year.  My talk will probably be titled "The Humor of Fishing and Hunting".
