I would go with a DT instead of the WF, regardless of its weight.
I fish WF lines only if I really need the distance and cannot get it
with the DT.

Well, I just received a rod from the site ( The Global dorbeR Group,

I've been looking for a light weight short rod for the longest time and
didn't realize how easy it really was to get one. Ordered it 2 days ago
and here it is today a 5' 3wgt rod and looks great. I'm matching it up
to my Hardy featherweight reel and a WF3F line. I do have a question
though. With a rod like this for dry fly fishing, is the WF3F line good
enough or should I go to a DT2F also? I know the WF is better for
distance but I didn't really get this short rod for distance, just
fishing tight spaces? So, would the DT2F be a better line?
