Yep, a 2 wt would have been just about right. I was there Thursday.
Like you said, lots of small fish. The San Gabriel is really pretty
upstream from the 268 crossing. If you came up 268 off 2243, you
passed right by my little ranch. My place begins just past the Creekview
Cul de Sac. It's on the right with the 4 board high wooden fence and
tank right in the corner by 268 and Creekview Cir. You probably saw my
big Longhorn steer Calico, too.

Well, Jimmy, I looked for you today. Finally got around to fishing
the 268 crossing of the South San Gabriel. Lots of fish, but it was
overkill with my 4 weight.

I hate to bring this up, but either everybody is fishing or too tired
to check in or,or,or whatever!
We used to do a lot of visiting in the chat room, but I've not seen a
single invitation to chat since the one I put to the list a little
over two weeks ago. Including my daily quote, there's been only a
handful of posts lately.
Are ya'll still there??? If so, please let me know. I'd hate to
see our List die because of lack of use. JIMMY D
